Positions In Our Company
Job Summary:
The Sales Consultant is the primary customer representative. You are responsible for all aspects of the sales process from identifying prospective customers to maintaining ongoing customer relationships that encourage repeat business. Throughout the process, you may be called upon to assist customers in choosing new or used vehicles, financial services, accessories and options. You also play an important role in representing the dealership’s Parts and Service Departments to your customers.
Supervisor:
The Sales Consultant reports to the Sales Manager
Duties:
- Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, and matching them to the most appropriate car
- Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features of Nissan vehicles
- Providing the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models
- Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features
- Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future
- Maintaining a customer database and communicating with them
- Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed
- Maintaining reporting structures and recording sales and inventory into CRM software
- Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets

Job Summary:
The Service Advisor is the primary contact between the Service Department and its customers. Our primary goals are to provide outstanding customer service while informing customers on needed maintenance services and related parts.
Supervisor:
Service Advisors report to the Service Director.
Duties:
- Inform needed maintenance services and related parts to customers
- Identify customer requests
- Conduct a complete vehicle walk around
- Present multipoint inspection results to customers
- Recommend needed maintenance services and related parts
- Conduct a detailed active delivery of each vehicle
- Make appropriate prospecting and follow-up contacts
- Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with dealership policies
- Current knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements, operations, warranties, campaigns, and technical bulletins
- Maintain current knowledge of state and local laws and regulations related to automotive service and repair
- Write complete, accurate repair orders in accordance with dealership policies
- Scheduling appointments

Job Summary:
As a Semi-Skilled Lube Technician, you are responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on customer vehicles while adhering to company standards and following applicable safety measures.
Supervisor:
The Lube Technician reports to the Service Manager
Duties:
Perform automotive preventative maintenance such as:
- Changing engine oil
- Rotating tires
- Checking and filling other vehicle fluids
- Replacing filters
- Inspecting lights and wipes
- Test and replace batteries
- Tire repairs
- Promptly and thoroughly advise the Assistant Service Manager (ASM) of any status updates, completed Multi-Point Inspections (MPI) and any additional needs found
- Basic tools to provide all Express Maintenance are supplied by Eden Prairie Nissan; Clean and secure all tools daily; Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space

Job Summary:
As a Parts Professional, you are responsible for ensuring that the Parts Department supplies the correct parts to your service team and Nissan customers.
Supervisor:
The Parts Professional reports to the Parts Manager
Duties:
- Creating a professional environment for all parts customers
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers
- Communicating effectively with customers, Toyota associates, and other dealership associates
- Maintaining Parts Department reference materials
- Identifying, ordering, receiving, stocking, and selling parts to customers
- Verifying all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
- Processing new and warranty parts returns
- Performing periodic inventory checks
- Providing exceptional customer service
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Strong customer service focus

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary:
The Cashier handles the final invoicing and payment collection for all service and parts transactions. Therefore, a person in this position must work very closely with the Service and Parts Departments. The Cashier is often the last dealership associate the customer deals with. As a result, what they do and how they treat the customer can leave a lasting impression. In terms of customer satisfaction, the Cashier has the most important role in the after-service delivery process.
Supervisor:
The Cashier reports to the Office Staff Manager.
Duties:
- Process service and parts transactions
- Accept payments (cash, credit, check)
- Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Answer customer questions about products or services
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Must present a professional appearance at all times
- Must be willing and able to work various schedules
- Ability to work under limited supervision
